BBR End Of Year Wrap Up

WOW!

Without a doubt this was our biggest year at BBR and our End of Challenge Wrap up Christmas Party unfolded in the best way imaginable.

There was no way you’d be able to tell that it was members from multiple locations. On Saturday we had our one big community all together and it filled BBR Owner and Head coach Rhino’s heart.

“It’s been our vision from the start to have one big community across multiple locations” Rhino explained. “We saw a snippet of that at our mid-year awards but Saturday was the pinnacle and it was absolutely one of my biggest highlights since opening the doors in 2017.”

The end of year party is an amazing opportunity for BBR members and our coaching team to come together and celebrate the hard work and results of all our members over the year. While there were a lot of members walking around with some very impressive physiques, who have all overcome various challenges to finish 2023 stronger than ever.

“It was something pretty special and I had a few moments throughout the day where I stood back and took it all in,” Rhino said. “I kept having the same thought throughout the day that we are on the right track, more of the same on a bigger scale, so we can have more impact and provide an even better member experience.”

Now, let’s talk about results… Massive congratulations to the BBR finalists who were hand selected by our BBR trainers;

Huge results, dedication and determination between these members.

Out of the 130 challenge members, 56 of them had reported back with their final weigh-in numbers early Saturday morning with a combined weight loss of 311.9kg. Keep your eyes peeled across our social media platform because this number will grow as we tally up the rest of the weight loss. Even more impressive when you consider these members added muscle weight across the six weeks so the actual fat loss and muscle gain number would have been totally out of this world. From the 56 members recorded so far, we sit at an average of 5.5kg down per member. Such incredible results and the saying “you’re a product of your environment” rings true for all those in this amazing BBR challenge group.

Now, enough chat, who actually won this thing! If you haven’t already seen the social media posts flying around, the challenge winner was Kate Bischof. She was in a class of her own with the way she managed her training, lifestyle and nutrition and throughout the whole six weeks. Three weeks into the challenge she decided to throw in a 10km open water swim into the mix and there were many sessions in the gym where she had already done her morning swim where she had racked up some big kilometres. She has a strong body and a resilient mind. After her open water swim, she gave Rhino the green light to be more aggressive with her programming. He challenged her and she rose to the occasion. Her photos tell a story but her speech at the awards gave us a good insight on her full journey. Just when you think someone can’t get any more impressive, you find out a little more about their story.

Kate is a champ, and everyone on the day completely agreed she was a very worthy winner. Well done Kate you are a serious inspiration to all. We all love having you in the gym and you are the epitome of a BBR member; humble, hardworking, encouraging, engaging, great energy and a huge smile.

There were so many other challenge members that are worthy of a shout out and we could go through every member and tell a story on how they impressed us with their hard work and determination. Over the next few weeks on BBR’s Instagram account, look out as we will tell as many of these stories as possible. Please get around our members as we focus on them as we collectively celebrate their success!

These stories are not just motivating, they are truly inspiring. These guys are the hard working, everyday heroes that unite and raise the vibrations of our communities. These guys are leaders, role models and have now stood in the arena here at the BBR gyms. They have put their hand up and been vulnerable on this journey. Going ALL IN means I am giving this everything, I am burning the boats to make sure there is no going back, I am prepared to move forward and progress my physical and mental wellbeing. In this process I may fall, but I will not fail.

Message from Coach Rhino:

Signing out for 2023 with a lot of gratitude for all of the members who have trained in our facility this year across the three locations.

Thank you to everyone that took a few hours out of their day on Saturday to come together.

We are creating something very special here at BBR and you are all a part of it.

Much Love

Rhino
